The weaving master KITAMURA Takeshi gave me guidance on a technique to create the sukui hand-woven section of a textile by using a twill structure. By applying this technique I want to create a depth of stripe or splashed patterns. To achieve this effect, day after day, I constantly repeat a process of trial and error.
