1980 Studied Shinshu Tsumugi under KOBAYASHI Takayo
1981 Moved to Sado City and started Kusakizome and hand-woven pongee works
1984 Selected for the National New Textile Artists Exhibition. Selected 6 times to date
1995 Solo exhibition titled “Crystal Art” at Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture
1997 Participated in the Tokyo Silk Exhibition. Submitted 5 times to date
2007 Selected for the Eastern Japan Traditional Art Crafts Exhibition for the first time. Selected 7 times to date

2003Received the Incentive Award at the Tsumugi & Ori Competition
2004Received the Special Award at the Gunma Silk Public Exhibition I
2007Received the Grand Prize at the Niigata Prefecture Traditional Craft Exhibition
2010Received the Governor of Niigata Award at the Eastern Japan Traditional Art Crafts Exhibition
