Hokuto Ito
With patterns and compositions incorporating the symbolic capture of plants and animals, I express my unique individuality; I cannot do this with traditional iroe porcelain (decorated with a colored picture). In the formation and pattern composition, I pursue the unfolding of decorative beauty, and continuously take up the challenge and possibilities of working with iroe.
