  • 1963 Born in Noto Town, Housu County, Ishikawa Prefecture
  • 1986 Studied under Kaga Yuzen artist Kozo Shirasaka
  • 1997 Becomes independent and opens his Yuzen studio "Mon-an"
    Submitted to and selected for the Ishikawa Traditional Kōgei Exhibition for the first time
  • 2008 Designated as Traditional Craftsman by the Traditional Crafts Industry Promotion Association Foundation
  • 2012 Produced curtain for the entrance of Mr. Maric's (magician) dressroom.
  • 2018 Took part in Imagine One World Kimono Project
  • 2022 Selected for the 69th Japan Traditional Kōgei Exhibition
