1962 Born in Kasama City, Ibaraki Prefecture as the eldest son of ceramic artist MATSUI Kosei (Living National Treasure)
1985 Graduated from the Program in Carving in the School of Art and Design at the University of Tsukuba. Studied under his father at Gessouji Ceramic Studio
1991 Selected for the 38th Japan Traditional Art Crafts Exhibition (Selected successively to date)
1992 Selected for the 32nd Japanese Traditional Art Crafts New Works Exhibition (Selected successively to date)
