  • 1977 Studied makie under Yoshikuni Taguchi
  • 1978 Studied kyushitsu (lacquering technique) from Mashiki Masumura
  • 1985 Selected for the 32nd Japan Traditional Kōgei Exhibition for the first time
  • 1987 Took part in the production of the Emperor's imperial throne at the 1st Zenshitsu-kai Exhibition held at the Seibu Art Forum
  • 1991 Took part in the production of the sacred treasures of Ise Jingu
    Took part in the reproduction of National Treasure "Ume Makie Tebako (Makie Box with Plum Design)"
