At present I mainly use flowers for the pattern motifs, and my style seeks to distil the atmosphere and vitality surrounding flowers and turn them into designs or patterns with a relatively realistic expression.

- 1965 Studied under his father, Fukuzo (textile dyeing artist) after graduating from university
- 1976 Published 3 issues of "Collective Patterns Illustrated Graphically for Dyeing, Stitching, and other Handicrafts" (Chrysanthemums) (Dolls) (Utensils) (~1978)
- 1981 Selected for the East Japan Traditional Kōgei Exhibition,
Textiles Traditional Kōgei Exhibition, and
the Japan Traditional Kōgei Exhibition for the first time. Submitted several times from this year onward. - 2001 Judge and evaluator at the East Japan Traditional Kōgei Exhibition
- 2005 Lectures "Yuzen Dyeing, This and That" at a university course in Shinjuku
