Meiji Gakuin University
Interested in ceramic art while at university, and joined Seitou Fukuda, Kasama City
After university graduation, enrolled Aichi Prefectural Seto Pottery Senior High School
Advanced Course, and studied under KAWAHARA Yasutaka - 1975 Started training for ceramics at a Kasama ware pottery
- 1982 Opened his studio Sanogama in Gozen Yamamura Village (present Hitachiomiya City)
- 1993 Solo exhibition, Matsuya Ginza Art gallery (solo exhibitions held every other year to date)
- 1995 Full member, Japan Kogei Association
- 1996 Traveled to France to study ceramics sponsored by Japan Foundation
