Jun Takegoshi

I produce ceramics using the slab building technique. Mainly on square forms and shapes, I apply iroe (overglaze enamel painting), in which I aim to create an impression on the viewer by making the best use of the space or blank emptiness of hakuji (white porcelain).

  • 1974 Selected for the Japan Fine Arts Exhibition 
  • 1979 Participated in the founding of the Japan New Art-Craft Artists Association. Held the post of Jury Member
    Studied under CHOSA Yoshiyuki (Order of Culture recipient, metal chaser)
  • 1988 Australia Bicentennial Exhibition. His work was later purchased by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan
