Jun Takegoshi

I produce ceramics using the slab building technique. Mainly on square forms and shapes, I apply iroe (overglaze enamel painting), in which I aim to create an impression on the viewer by making the best use of the space or blank emptiness of hakuji (white porcelain).

Studied under CHOSA Yoshiyuki (Order of Culture recipient, metal chaser) - 1988 Australia Bicentennial Exhibition. His work was later purchased by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan
