Ceramics in the Sanuki region: Fujimi Kiln
This tender matte cream color glaze gives a soft texture and subtle luster.
"Incorporating traditional craftworks in our daily life..." I envision forms and designs.
I use tuff collected from Tosan (east area of Kagawa Prefecture) for the raw materials of cosmetic soil, and combine it with original matte glaze. I talk with the beauty of nature, and aim at making the best use of local materials for my works; through this approach I will continue monozukuri (art of craftsmanship).
